Internet Slang in Turkish Continued

Welcome to the second installment of Turkish slang! If you haven't read the first publication on the topic, you can do so here.

DISCLAIMER: This article features sexual slang (scroll further down for those) and therefore is not recommended for adolescents or children. Reader discretion is advised.

Abbreviations continued

The previous article featured a long list of common, set-in-stone abbreviations. Unfortunately for you learners, Turkish people often choose to abbreviate entire sentences as well. This can result in unprecedented abbreviations, which forces learners to guess the implied words.

This style of vowel dropping was majorly prevalent during the days of the push-button cellphone when texting was a pain in the buttocks. Nowadays it is used less extensively, and it is only observed in short answers, greetings, and generally unimportant texts.
